Fees and billing
- When will I receive my money?
Your funds are settled in cycles to ensure the buyer has received the item.

Payment Hold: Once the buyer pays, the money is held securely by Sellzys.

Release Trigger: Funds are released to your bank account 3 days after the buyer confirms delivery (or 3 days after the delivery is recorded if the buyer takes no action).

Settlement: After the release, the money will reflect in your bank account in the next settlement cycle (typically T+2 working days).

- Can you give me an example of the calculation?
Certainly! If you sell an item for ₹1,000:

Sale Price: ₹1,000

Payment Gateway Fee (e.g., 2%): ₹20

Total Payout to You: ₹980 (Note: Small variations may occur based on the payment method used by the buyer, such as Credit Card vs. UPI, but it will stay within the "2% or less" range.)

- What are the "Payment Handling Fees"?
To receive money from a buyer safely, we use secure, RBI-authorized payment gateways like Razorpay or Cashfree. These gateways charge a small fee for every transaction they process.

The Fee: This is typically 2% or less of the total transaction value.

Transparency: Sellzys only deducts this exact gateway fee. We do not add any hidden markups or "service charges."

- How much does Sellzys charge me to sell?Sellzys is a zero-commission platform. We do not take a percentage of your sale for ourselves. You keep the full value of your item, minus only the actual third-party cost of processing the payment.
- Start getting paid on sellzysGetting paid for items you’ve sold on sellzys is simple. Your buyers can choose from a range of payment methods, sellzys manages the end-to-end payments process, and you receive your funds directly in your checking account.
Shipping and tracking
- Change of Delivery AddressIf you want to change your delivery address:
- Request must be made within 6 hours of placing the order.
- Address cannot be changed once the order is shipped.
- Damaged / Tampered DeliveriesIf the package appears damaged, tampered, or opened, you must:
- Take photos/video of the parcel
- Refuse delivery (if possible)
- Contact Sellzys support immediately
- Order TrackingOnce your order is shipped, you will receive:
- Tracking number
- Courier partner name
- Tracking link
- Shipping Methods & Delivery TimeWe partner with trusted courier companies such as Blue Dart, Delhivery, Ekart, DTDC, and others. Estimated delivery time:
- Metro Cities: 2–5 working days
- Tier 2/Tier 3 Cities: 3–7 working days
- Remote/Out-of-service areas: 5–10 working days
- Order Processing Time
- All orders are processed within 24–48 hours (except Sundays and public holidays).
- During high-demand periods (sales, festivals), processing time may take longer.
- You will receive an email/SMS notification once your order is confirmed.

Refund for Cancelled Orders
a) Prepaid Orders
If the order was prepaid (online payment):- Refund will be issued to the original payment method.
- It may take 5–7 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank/payment provider.
b) Cash on Delivery (COD)
- No refund is required for COD orders since no payment was made at the time of placing the order.
Selling
- Pro-Tip for Sellers 💡Put your own signature/mark/label/sticker for authentication so the buyer can not change his old article with yours. Please take clear photos of the item and its packaging before you hand it over to the courier.
- Shipping your itemsWe partner with trusted courier companies such as Blue Dart, Delhivery, Ekart, DTDC, and others. You can use any of the partners or courier services of your choice to ship the goods.
- How sellers can cancel an orderSellers are obligated to complete the sale when a buyer makes a purchase. However, we understand that there may be circumstances in which orders need to be canceled.They can cancel from it from their account.
- 🚫 Prohibited Items
What items are NOT allowed on Sellzys? Safety is our priority. We strictly prohibit:

Items over 30kg.

Sex-related products or adult material.

Illegal items: Narcotics, E-cigarettes, Vapes, and any items banned by the government.

Attempting to sell these will lead to a permanent account ban.

Buying
- What to do if you provided an incorrect shipping address
Report that your item hasn't arrived
The seller is the best person to help if the delivery date has passed and your item hasn't arrived. You can ask for an order update, a replacement, or a refund back to your original payment method. Most sellers respond within 3 business days. To be eligible for buyer protections, you need to report the item hasn't arrived within 30 calendar days after the delivery date, so get in touch with the seller as soon as you can. Refunds are typically available within 3-5 business days. - Pro-Tip for BuyersAlways film a video while unboxing your package. This is your best evidence if the item is damaged or missing.
Accounts
- Are there any registration or listing fees?No. Listing your products on Sellzys is 100% free. You only pay the payment handling fee when you successfully make a sale.
- Orders & PaymentsBy placing an order, you agree to:
- Provide accurate billing/shipping details
- Pay the full amount via approved payment methods (Razorpay, PayPal, COD, etc.)
- Cancel orders due to product unavailability
- Reject suspicious or fraudulent orders
- Request additional verification for high-value purchases
- Account RegistrationWhen creating an account:
- You must provide accurate details
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Any activity on your account will be treated as performed by you
